Located around a 20 minute walk from Úlfljótsvatn, the Ljósafoss Power Station offers a free exhibition that offers an interactive experience allowing you to learn about renewable and sustainable energy while having fun.
This is a self guided activity that begins and ends with a short hike that takes you over the dam of the power plant itself, giving you a unique perspective of how the clean energy of Iceland is produced.
The exhibition is open from 10:00 – 17:00 daily during summer.
