International Scouting Event
in the Heart of Iceland
Camp Everlight 2026 registration is open!
In 2017 we hosted our first camp for small groups, families and individuals within scouting and guiding. Back then, it was called Camp Iceland, and about 20 people took part. Over the years the event has changed and grown. For some years it was called Camp White Nights, and now we try a new name, in the same spirit:
Camp Everlight.
It refers to the midnight sun in the sub-arctic, when the days of summer fade into each other without any clear signs of night-time.
As before, the idea is to offer individuals, groups and families within scouting and guiding a chance to experience Iceland, Úlfljótsvatn and the unforgettable summer-nights, in an easy and safe way.
From August 8th-13th, 2026, we invite Scouts from around the world to join us for Camp Everlight and experience an unforgettable Icelandic adventure!
Hosted in South Iceland at the Úlfljótsvatn Scout Centre, the same site that welcomed the World Scout Moot in 2017, we’re excited to bring that special spirit of international Scouting once again back to life.
For 2026, we offer a unique and exciting program packed with activities, including our outdoor climbing course, archery, a day trip to the famous Golden Circle, white-water rafting, and much more.
New for 2026: We will also offer a special trip to Reykjavík to witness the solar eclipse, giving participants a rare opportunity to experience this extraordinary event from one of the best viewing locations in Iceland.
More about the eclipse here.
